Well, if it stays on the menu at a place like Ruth's Chris, do really think nobody is eating it?
Also, people do take kids there. When we took ours when she was younger, she would get the burger.
The burger is only available at lunch.

I'm betting they will make it for a kid at dinner if requested.

Probably. Ruth’s is pretty accommodating. But it’s definitely not on the menu. The children’s menu only has chicken fingers or a kids sized steak.
The burger used to also be a “bar only” item. But that’s changed too.

You just gave me lunch plans for tomorrow.

Is Fleming’s no longer a thing?
Is there a reason you repeat these questions over and over every time a place that used to be popular comes to mind?
I'd have to guess Fleming's happy hour started to see its popularity plummet when they got rid of the catchy 5-6-7 deal and turned it into $10 burger deal a few years ago.
Looking at their website now, the burger during happy hour is now up to $15. The cheapest item on the entire happy hour menu is $13 (CHICKPEA EGGPLANT VEGAN CAKES).
Combine that with the fact that burgers are very solid all over town, there's not really a reason for people to pack out Fleming's bar anymore.

Most Mexican places have surprisingly good burgers. It's usually always a fresh made patty cooked on a flat top, with fresh lettuce/toppings. Those factors alone beat a lot of "burger" places.
The Double Del at Del Taco is better than most fast food burgers.

Years ago, I had a coworker mention how good Superior's burger were, so I ordered one for takeout one day. It was damn solid. It was in my regular lunch rotation for years until I changed jobs. I'm sure it's $25 anyway these days.

Most likely because they use the same beef for their ground beef tacos which is anywhere between 80-85%.
I doubt any burger place would use a lower fat content. It’s probably the seasoning of meat and grill.

Iverstine's will do a double meat burger. It's alot more burger for a little bit more money. And if you decide against a burger, they have their pot roast on the hot bar on Wednesday.

I used to get the $5 burger at Olive or Twist, add bacon for $1 (pre-COVID) and thought that was the steal of the city.

that is a damn good deal, was that for happy hour? I just checked their menu and am only seeing burgers starting for around $14, prob due to inflation and covid if i had to guess

It was all day on Tuesdays. It should still be all day. Problem was they got inconsistent at times. The buns were different on several occasions.
Forgot to mention, they come with very seasoned fries. Burger has some type of aioli which was good too.

Bubba's burger is OK but not top 5 in BR area. You'd be sorely disappointed in your burger after you made the drive. It's OK for a local joint if you live in the area, but that's about it.

Really, we go there every few months with a lunch group and the burger I got there was one of the worst I've had in a while and their frys weren't any better. This was a couple years ago, and I haven't been tempted to try it again.
