Popeyes 20 years ago was awesome when it had the buffet and all the good sides and could get a shrimp po boy

One thing TigahRag and me always knighted for here was: Krispy Krunchy's tenders(when fresh) are the best fast-food/gas station tenders around The Baton Rouge Area.
They are based in Alexandria. Glad to see they expanding to your neck of the woods.

This is factual. Most of the locations do a good job with the standard KK recipes and add a little home made this or that. But some locations make chicken and sides twice a day and let it sell out or toss it. You can stumble on some real pieces of rubber being sold at these locations.

After you posted what you posted, I'm surprised they didn't move it to the gay board.
Krispy Krunchy does have some really good chicken though. But it is the greasiest chicken I have ever eaten and the meat has like some orange-looking juice coming out of it from whatever they marinate it or fry it with. Also, Popeyes is still better.

There is one lose to my office on the west side of Atlanta. I looked at that chicken a few times when stopping by for a soda and thought that it looked really good. I didn’t get any the first few times but caved last week and got 3 thighs and some mashed potatoes. I went back to the office and ate it. When I was done, I told several people I just had the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. They asked from where and were quite surprised when I told them it was from that gas station about a mile away.

I gotta wonder if he fat-fingered 12" into 32". There is no way you can sell a 2 and a half foot long shrimp poboy for $8.99 and not lose money unless it has a foot worth of shrimp spread out over it, even then the bread cost would eat up almost all the profit.
