You’ve had 3 mass shootings in the last year.

LOL name them

Dude go back and reread my post and who I was responding to. The "they" I'm referring to is the Baton Rouge leadership. I was saying I wonder why BR didn't incorporate all of SE BR long before the stupid arse St George movement took place.

You might want to remove "how annexation works" from the list of "shite you already know"

Municipalities don't annex unincorporated areas. Businesses and residents within those areas petition the city to annex them.

You should do some googling before stepping into a debate you are obviously unequipped for.

But good of you to defend such a great city as Baton Rouge. Lets have lunch at the mall food court soon.
quote:

Dude you need to step out of your echo chamber. 70% of the parish voted against it. Several people that voted against it are fiscal conservatives that voted against it because they don't want their taxes to go up and get nothing in return.

You mean all the people who pay $15,000 for Catholic schooling because EBR offers no viable option, don't want to pay more for better schools? Flawles logic
quote:

Ok there buddy. Enjoy your pretend city with higher taxes with WORSE crime and problems it had before. GO ST GEORGE!!!!!

Would you care to cite your source for worse crime? If you'd like to start with just homicides per capita I'd be delighted to help you.

After that we can move onto shootings and close with percentage of suspects arrested for violent crimes in St George who have north baton rouge addresses.

But since you seem to know, you go first.

I'm wondering why they didn't incorporate all of SEBR.

The initial map was everything unincorporated in the SE portion of the parish.

Several campaigns were launched by the city, scared of losing whitey's money, and they convinced a few large swaths to annex prior to the vote.

Also, several small pockets of predominantly black neighborhoods and apartments threw a fit because they didn't want to be in St. George. After the initial vote failed, the organizers removed those black communities from the map by request. Once they did that they were asked why they didn't want predominantly black neighborhoods in their city.

When the demand for racism exceeds the supply, this is what you get.

Anyone with a brain would have campaigned for this school district.

I remember when clowns like you said the same thing about the incorporation.

The major issue here was that the zombie black people in EBR who vote how them internets tell them to vote. 95% of the people who voted against a new school district will tell you they voted "to save" ebr schools and that a note for amendment 2 would have resulted in white flight.

Everyone else who voted against were Karen magnet school moms who cared about their kids, not yours.

No one who voted against this could comprehend that a smaller school district that is easier to manage may have been what EBR has been needing for the 50 years it has been a failure for the taxpayers of the parish.

At least as we move forward, when people ask why the only high school in a city of 88000 sucks, they can't say its in any way the fault of St George.

If you listen to the News story, they released him and now they can't find him. He has a $200,000 bond.

Didn't listen... didn't need to listen
Pointless in Seattle... No judge will hold him, no DA will prosecute him and no jury would convict him.

The "Trump is a dictator" people will be pretty silent when they read that
No "may be" about it. They are not renewing.
Before I watch, how many times did she say axe and finna, and how many times did she incorrectly use the phrase "I be" or "we be?"

Baton Rouge's and the Mayor's priorities. Sid should be recalled

There's already an effort for this, homo.. are you one of the 10 signatures they obtained in the first month on the way to 50,000?

He targeted areas, public behavior, and prosecutions. Baton Rouge has the tools to do the same analysis of areas, criminal profiling in those areas, and making the analysis results actionable and proactive.

You forget that when Rudy did it we didn't have an entire panel of activist judges wanting to make a statement by continually releasing violent criminals into the streets. We have plenty of arrests here in Baton Rouge. More than you could fathom. Unfortunately if its not an issue of no space to house them, its an issue of a judge ready to release them because they're tired of seeing the police jam up their people.

A chain is only strong as its weakest link and our court systems link is made of wet paper.

Well....what did people think the reason behind St. Georges formation was in the first place? Did some of you think it was out of the goodness of the councils heart? That there is NO WAY it would be exploited for personal gain? This is louisiana

Their original request was to form the Southeast BR School District which was everything between the 2 interstates up to the split. Then State Rep Sharon Weston Broome shot them down and said every other school district formed in the state was formed after the incorporation of city. The next week the same guys started the petition for the incorporation of St. George. They won in 2019 and were sued by none other than Sharon Weston Broome. She ultimately lost.

I'd put a few lol emojis behind this like you did but I actually know what I'm talking about so there's no need.

It’s St George. The city with rent a cops no public works but a high paid mayor and council. Any way to keep pulling the wool over their eyes they keep doing. Example A removing a painted pedestrian bridge that no one can see from their house……..it’s sad really. Wonder how much this is costing the settlement of St George tax payers……..

Your stupidity becomes more evident with every post. High paid council lol... just get over that St. George won and was approved and get on with your meaningless life. Baton Rouge would love to have you. There's plenty of rental properties north of Florida Blvd where you can move to and laugh at St. George's prosperity with your new friends
It looks like the Wendy's social media guy found a job
