I really like the New England style ones. Way less bitter.

I would try Urban Souths Holy Roller.

And check out a few APAs too.

It's bizarre that so much shelf space is wasted on an inferior style of beer.

What's really bizarre is how much time and effort you are wasting with your inferior intellect in a thread about a topic you dislike. Time to move on...

You mean the thread about how the OP doesn't like IPAs? I realize his 2 sentences are a lot to read, but with your superior intellect you should be able to knock it out in a few hours.

I'm not into doubles and extreme IBUs, but yes, it's an acquired taste for a lot of people. Not sure about 3 years in, but there is enough variety to attract people with very differing palates.

Try session IPAs, New England-style and the plethora of good fruit/tropical IPAs, you may change your mind. My gf's favorite beers are probably Hoegaarden and Allagash white, and won't touch most IPAs. But she'll definitely drink a Tropicalia or Scofflaw Basement or something like that.

Yup. Once refrigeration became widespread, IPAs became an answer to a question no longer asked.

Hipsters moved on from IPA's years ago. Once something is mainstream, the hipsters are done with it.

Try something with low ABV like a stone go to IPA or Founders All Day IPA. Or just don't force yourself to drink something you don't like.

Oh man, I got started on gose lately and I love it. Abita's To-Gose is a bit salty for my taste, but Tin Roof's Gose with the Flow is awesome.

It's shite like this that makes IPA drinkers unbearable... if we don't like super hoppy stuff surely we only like crap beer... but I've been raked over the coals for that opinion before so whatever...

Anyway must be a specific or acquired taste. I've tried them and have just decided there are other styles I much prefer. I much prefer stouts and malt heavy stuff... again it's a matter of taste.

Btw...I finally tried the almighty GHOST this weekend.. bar I was at let me have a sample. Since I'm not an IPA drinker me not liking it really don't say anything...but I will say I enjoyed it slightly more than any other IPA I've had... so there's that haha

Let's not go crazy, there are plenty of other options out there besides IPAs.

I only recommend getting Coors light if you can't afford bottled water.

I like drinking Northwest style IPAs, when I can find them.
