It's shite like this that makes IPA drinkers unbearable.

I've tried them and have just decided there are other styles I much prefer. I much prefer stouts and malt heavy stuff... again it's a matter of taste.

I have no problem with that.I love IPAs , Stouts, Sours, Trappist Belgians, ESBs even a good amber every once in a while. But I don't really care for Gose. But I don't trash the style or question people that like them.

I don't like scotch in any shape, form or fashion.

Is this the thread where I talk about how much scotch sucks?

TIA.

That's what I'm saying...drink what you like. Hell...my bro in law loves bud light and bud light only. I've tried to open him up to new stuff which he appropriates but always goes back to his fav... its whatever..it's what he likes. The one thing I hate about craft beer drinkers is looking down on people who don't like ______ and it just always seems like it's mainly coming from the guy with the 4X dry hopped super IPA's....just my experience.

It's like they figured out how to take all the bad taste out of a normal whiskey and bottle it. I can't believe I used to drink it.

I drink lots of different beers. That being said, I can't see me ever not drinking Bud-light. It's really that good.

That price is pretty steep. As intriguing as that sounds. Let me know if they come out with an (ENE) Even Newer England style version of it.

I can be a beer snob at times, but there are certain occasions where an ice cold Bud Light is all I want. Just depends on the situation.

you've never seen it coming from the other side? "What, you only drink that fancy expensive beer, or some beer that tastes like fruit, what are you, some hipster?"

pretty much the go to line for oil field baws/plant workers

what's even more retarded is that they consider some light beers more "manly" than others. i've heard these types of idiots call Coors or Miller pansy beers all the while the people talking shite were guzzling Bud Light. I guess stupid people don't really make sense.

I guess it's all in the crowd you are around then. I have literally never seen anyone look down on someone that doesn't like IPAs. Hell, my wife doesn't like them, so I make her other styles. I have certainly seen craft drinkers look down on folks that only drink BMC, and I've seen BMC drinkers that talk shite about craft beer folks.

Personally, I only have a problem with people that refuse to simply try something new, and I refuse to support INBEV or MillerCoors as companies whenever I can avoid it.
