Food manufacturer Cento is committing "tomato fraud," lawsuit alleges

There’s a certain marking on the can and if it doesn’t have it, they’re not from there.

Fraudulent or not, the Cento products are good. I buy a few cans when they are on sale.

I have found SMT brand tomatoes to be excellent. I think they are better than Cento. Their tomatoes are grown in the US, but they use the San Marzano cultivar. They are fairly pricy for a domestic product though.

Okay..whatever. The seeds I use are San Marzano variety and they are damn good tomatoes.
Diluted vinegar is the key. I use an Orbit timer with a suction tube dropped into a small jar of vinegar that applies the vinegar as it waters. Tomatoes love it. My version of volcanic soil.

I think that their packaging is very misleading.

That's the brand I use they come out good. I never buy jarred sauce anymore.

I'm no expert in this area of law, but it seems like false advertising to me.
