Something like the potbelly Italian with the works, it’s pretty close.

There's a place in Austin called Little Deli Pizzeria. They have a sandwich called Harry's Perfect Pastrami. I ate one and said thats the best sandwich in the world. Ive had way too many than I should have since and theyre just as good every time.

It's nearly impossible for me to order anything else if I'm somewhere with a Reuben on the menu (or any sort of corned beef/pastrami combination).

Sadly, the best sandwich I ever had can only be dreamed about now.
Years ago, there was a Cajun place in Gulf Breeze, FL called the Whistler's Walk. The used to have a sandwich called the Loadie.
The Loadie was on great French bread, with a melted pepper jack cheese, that kinda blended into the bread. Sliced roast beef with a spicy BBQ sauce and some mayo.
It was heavenly. Even my wife remembers the deliciousness.

The oyster po-boy at Frankie & Johnny's is the reason I moved to Louisiana. This is was in 1997 and it cost $5.95 back then, and probably came with fries, and Dixie was a buck.
The Monte Cristo at Disneyland stays in the my mind, but I was just a kid then.
The first roast beef po-boy I had at Parasol's after Katrina was also pretty damn good.
