Been my go-to bread since I discovered it at Costco. Has a good shelf life too.

Dave's Killer Bread

I noticed this bread in Kroger yesterday for the first time but figured it was just a gimmicky label product. Will have to try it.

First Google search yields : "Is Dave of Dave's Killer Bread in jail?

Not any more, but he did over 15 years for burglary, armed robbery, dope, etc. Got clean, made his killer bread, then recently had a bipolar meltdown fight with cops. He sold the bread operation to a big company in 2015 for $275M.

Dave’s Killer Bread is legit. It’s easily my favorite for prepackaged breads, including bagels.

For store baked bread, WF’s seduction bread is hard to beat.

His drivers are the lowest paid in the food delivery industry.

If 1 in 3 employees are felons you'd think Dave would care a little bit more about his people.

Topped with the feta and olive salad from the olive bar.. or with artichoke hearts, grilled eggplant or bellpeppers.. and make a peasant sandwich (just vegetables and cheese) or slice thick and make a pressed peasant.. awesome

If you haven't had some fresh, hot bread from L&N in N. Thibodaux, then you ain't lived.
