I liked Charlie's.. I'm surprised you found it.
Parents still live in Ville Platte so we tried to hit as many as we could that day. Started the morning off at Fred's in Mamou. We passed a good time.

They just took over Town And Country here. I'll have to try it.
I recently heard 'someone' had bought T&C. Glad you posted this, now I'll certainly have to stop in my next trip to Ellick.

I like Jerry Lees as well but also like Billy’s. FYI the best “store bought” boudin is Cajun Family Traditions

Try Gator World’s alligator boudin. Sold around Ascension/Livingston.

Did you know, they have two stores in Texas? One in Baytown and one in Katy, both are right off I-10.

Kartchners, Billys and Best stop smoked boudin is too spicy.
I like spicy, but its too much. Its like the smoke accentuates the black pepper or something.
I dont remember billys being like that around 2013/2014 time frame.
Teets boudin is probably my least favorite in Ville Platte.
My boys in VP need to smoke boudin in my opinion.
Dont know why its non existent in ville platte.

Why is there not much love for Best Stop? Has it become too commercialized? I think they have the best boudin.
