We flew into Albany, NY first week of October last year and rented a car. Drove to Lake Placid first for 2 days and hit it perfect. Then drove to Vermont and hit Stowe for a couple of days, then drove back to Albany and took a train down to Manhattan for a couple days and flew back from NYC.

My wife and I want to visit Paris and Switzerland. Is it better to plan a trip to both places or do a river cruise with extended stays? We don’t want to be gone longer than 14 days. Any advice is appreciated.
