Wally World has stuff out last week. Guess we are just skipping Thanksgiving now.
I like black iron pot, brown them up , trinity and make a gravy, serve with rice.
Never had Verons but Poches in Breaux Bridge has some good ones.

Moved to Hou about 15 yrs ago for work. Honestly want to move back, just seems so impersonal here. Every time we go back I’m reminded just how friendly people are. Really never felt like home here and my kids say the same thing

More nautical tidbits. Starboard (right side) comes from steorbord or steerboard. Since most captains were right handed the steering oar would stick out on right side. To prevent damage they docked on the larboerd or load side (left), later changed to port.
Never tried that but it looks great.
