I am going with Kartchner's. What do you think?

I do like Kartchner’s on Krotz Springs. Juneau’s in Marksville is very good also. Billy’s, Best Stop are good too.

I’m a fan of Kartchner’s.
But if you made me pick one favorite, I THINK I would go with Johnson’s Boucaniere.

Kartchner's is good, but the gold standard is Guillory's in Pine Prairie. Very little fat, only a little filler.
Billy’s is over rated.

Paul's in Ville Platte
Did a little boudin tasting tour around Ville Platte. Went to T-Boy's Charlie's in Mamou, Teet's, 5 Brother's, B&S and Paul's
Teet's was surprisingly one of my favorites, I used to not like Teet's Boudin but its way improved now. B&S used to be my favorite but it terrible now, not sure what they did. Paul's used to be terrible as well but its close to being the best. T-Boy's seemed to have a lot of liver which I enjoy but not for everyone. Charlie's had a lot of parsley and green onion in it which my wife liked. 5 Brother's was meat forward, felt it could use a little better meat to rice ratio.

To name a "Best" boudin is really hard because of the variations of the meat/liver/rice ratio that are personal preferences. Everyone has thier personal favorites.
Some of my favorites are T-Boy's, Kartchner's, and Menard's.

There aren't many wrong answers to this question.

I've got a soft spot for T Jim's in cottonport, but I'd probably pick Billy's.

I haven't had Teet's in a while. The last time I had it, was in their old store across the street from where they are now.. and it was terrible. I'll try it again and I hope it's gotten better because their smoked sausage is very, very good.
I've had Paul's at times, where I've thought it's the best I've ever tasted. They work hard in that store.. and their cracklins to me, are also very good. I liked Charlie's.. I'm surprised you found it. It's not talked about alot. And I agree. I like their green onion.. it makes it sweet.
If you're on Highway 13 across from Lakeview park, heading into Eunice, try Mel's.
It has a lot to do with what you like and everybody's taste is different.. It has to be terrible not to like it.
I've never had 5 Brothers.. I'll see if I can find them. Thanks for the good words.
