Avenue Pub is the only beer joint in the city I actually want to go to for beer alone. Easy winner. I'll go other places based upon by company, but for me the Pub is the favorite.
Balcony is awful. Last time I was there it tasted like someone had shite in their lines. Just bad.

Everyday I pray someone buys The Balcony and turns it into something decent. Great location but God that place is awful.

As a former worker in the beverage industry in BR, I can tell you Ave Pub goes through extreme efforts to serve you the best beer possible. What they do with their gas pressure mixture, cleaning their own lines, and keeping dark tinted beer lines as short as a foot is so rare in the industry, even for a well-respected pub. Huge Ave Pub fan.
