I would put the ARC in another room like my bedroom. But if you must move forward with this BS your are going to have to hook either the ARC or the AVR up to the TV via the optical cable and the other device via the HDMI arc input. You will need to toggle between the two in the audio settings of...

Brand new Sony AVR I just hooked up has chromecast built in. Also those WiiM pro look just like Sonos ports, but smaller and lighter. It’s like the size difference between the OG 8-bit Nintendo and the mini classic they released a few years ago. ...
