I've been holding onto PLUG for too long, avg cost of around $7-8. Thankfully, it's only a couple hundred shares.

I have a 14 Pro and will probably look to get at least one more year out of it, if not two.

I'm in the same spot phone wise and my thought would be to wait if the decision was purely about the tech upgrade. My concern would be the reduction in trade-in value if I wait another cycle or two. I realize this isn't a ton of money but I don't like paying for a cell phone when I can upgrade now for "free".

Curious how or if you/anyone balances that situation.
I was wondering if it was just me.

En espanol!

Do you not think share price has a marginal impact on the propensity for some retail investors to consider an investment?
It’s been a great run the past few years. Wouldn’t mind a stock split to lower the share price.

Honestly I think a bigger weapon in the anti-inflation arsenal is the DOGE cuts

This. An uncertain level of "austerity" coupled with lower energy costs are pushing inflation down.
Quick bump

It's 41' in NOLA now and the snow is melting but I've still got a bunch on the roof. I can't easily reach the roof by ladder, is it safe to spray water from the hose to help the process? I'm primarily trying to help the side of the house that is shaded by a tree.

Just paid about $15/ft in NOLA.

Agreed. I'm a little confused. I feel we're about to get a complete reversal on LNG (exports) that should help with Nat Gas prices (maybe long term?). Throw in all the instability in the mid east and we should be expecting some tailwinds, especially with prices this cheap.

re: Hulu Streaming issues lately

Yes, probably for the past week plus. I was initially worried it was our eero mesh system but the other services weren't impacted. I've also noticed some channels on Hulu have more issues than others. I believe the Hulu app on one tv updated last night. Maybe they addressed the issue?
Any reason not to splurge and grab a MacBook of your choosing just to save 200-300?
With an MBA/JD you will be laughing about overthinking it.

Did you end up purcasing the 34" Samsung?

I see a 27" ViewFinity S8 4K (S80D) for sale for $230. The one you posted was ultrawide but do you have an opinion between the 2 for similar price?

TIA

Most banks (except shitty Chase bank) have an option to download into CSV instead via online banking portal. Is that an option for you?

You can download all transactions into CSV from Chase. I do it every year around tax time.
Bump

Anyone get theirs yet and have an early opinion? I’m waiting a few more days since I ordered through Costco.

Curious on monitor and other accessory ideas? This is my first Mac and only have a 3 screen setup for work which doesn’t require digital editing. Standard mouse/keyboard.
Yes, I tried to get in this morning to sell my largest holding that popped 18% this morning. Didn't get the chance as the price settled around 10:00.

Good line. It showed a personal side but also a callback to his more humble beginnings as a driver. Felt like driver lingo.

I really like how he comes back and attacks the ball in the air. His confidence is growing and should feature more in the offense.
Did anyone hear Mo state this was his last season with the club? He said he hasn’t discussed next season with management and is prepared to leave.
Disappointing if that accurately reflects Liverpool’s efforts to this point.

Most of the growth is in healthcare and government.

Which is crazy considering the BLS and the MSM are in the tank for Biden/Harris. Wild that they would release this report.

You can only hide reality for so long. Plus, this provides rationale for a >.25 rate cut in September.
