So are Ted and Rebecca going to end up together? Is that where the eventual show arc is headed? Get promoted at the end of this season, then in the final season back in the premier league, winning it all? I’m guessing not winning it all but Ted and Rebecca get together, Ted stops coaching and Nathan takes over, Rebecca steps down or at least steps back and just acts as an owner and Higgins becomes GM

I love Higgins.
And yeah this was a feel good Christmas episode but also serves to fast forward the timeline. I think there are 8 episodes left and if you’ve seen the trailer you know what they have to go through for promotion. Settling that will probably take 3 episodes.

Great episode but the Roy storyline was cheesy. Going door to door on Christmas knocking to see who’s a dentist? Lol really? That’s the best the writing team could come up with

Great episode. It’s hard to find a show that just puts a smile on your face. Roy getting the poster board was awesome.

Clearly, but they may slow it down depending on how long they project the longevity of the show. Who knows how long a movie guy like Sudekis wants to do it. It does seems like they are playing the long game.
I hope they don’t do the “TV show thing” where he and Rebecca get ready to hook up, then his ex wife shows up at his doorstep wanting to get back together, or tells him his son got into an accident and he has to move back to America to nurse him back to health or some dumb shite like that
