We watched this one last night. The dialog throughout the film is remarkable. Multiple scenes had me both laughing and tearing up.

Shell has started providing electricity in tWoodlands geared towards EV owners ("free" from midnight to 3am; $/kWh is fairly reasonable compared to Centerpoint). I just schedule my car to start charging at midnight and it's worked out pretty well.
And similar to others ITT, the EV is our commuter car and we keep an ICE on the side for road trips.

My family's two-car strategy (EV daily commuter, ICE road trips) remains undefeated.
Our electricity plan offers a "free" rate off-peak from midnight to 3. Pretty good deal so far.

I enjoyed this version of Namor. Granted, I am not committed to the comic book version of him.
Ironheart felt like she got a similar treatment to MCU spidey: show up in a big movie with a fancy suit, then revert back to "earning your stripes" in an origin story at a later date

Was that gas plant seriously able to prop up Bill’s lifestyle for 20 years? Seems like something upstream of that facility would’ve gone caput immediately and him opening a single valve (lol) would have been useless.

I looked into a Rivian (knowing it’d be 3 years away) but basically interstate any charging option that’s not the Tesla supercharger network is jaw-droppingly shitty across the south
Maybe it’ll look different in 4-5 years once the IRA funds start kicking into high gear

Agreed, the Yellowstone River is canon on the show and they even border the national park which was incepted prior to 1883.

Eh I took delivery in December for an M3. So I guess I didn’t miss out on the huge cuts. Love the car so no regrets.

1. Beef up our emergency fund to 3 months' income (newborn arrived last year and would like to fatten our buffer)
2. Start saving a house downpayment (this may include trying to find a more efficient rental in the near-term)
3. Get back on track with saving for things like Vacation, Birthdays, etc., on the front-end of the budget instead of "whatever is left" at the end of the month
4. Establish ~20% saving rate
