re: Black preschoolers still disciplined at far higher rates than Whites

Well what do you expect when their home life is in the streets instead of at the dinner table with their mother and father.

Always has been. It’s transforming from soft bigotry to complete bigotry of low expectations.

Now do kids from lower-income families to higher income or from 1 parent households to 2 parent households....


These stats can be so misleading

And this is why things will never change. Those in power will never acknowledge that blacks and black culture are the root of the problem. Instead they will continue to point to "systemic racism" which isn't there, and it all continues. They are trying to treat what they want to be the cause and not the actual underlying disease itself. Anything to continue the victim role.

When overall stats don't tell the whole picture. Where are these suspensions occurring? Are there more suspensions in inner-city, high black population preschools and fewer overall suspensions in majority white areas/preschools?

Something similar came up in an "unconscious bias" training I had to take for my job and the guy talking about it said that black students in Mississippi (I live in KY so why he was talking about MS I have no idea) were suspended at a much higher rate than white students. But he failed to mention where those suspensions were occurring, the Delta, the Gulf Coast, rural MS. That information matters.

We need to bring back whipping boys. White kids get punished for the deeds of black kids in order to provide equity for our at risk communities.
