or they are more likely to be repeat offenders

This is what popped into my head, no discipline at home so they repeat.

So it's generally the same few repeating shite behavior.

The same few white kids repeating shitty behavior isn't enough to skew the data that much because there are more white kids.

If you have a black kid that is the one of two in his class, get disciplined 8 times, it skews the frick out of the data.

If a white kid, in a class with 16 other white kids gets disciplined 8 times, the stats will show black kids get disciplined at higher rates when in fact the sane little shits were disciplined equally.

I was punished by a white teacher for something I didn't do and that wasn't my fault. That's probably happened to white kids too though.
This has happened to me too, and guess what? I'm white

People want to make everything about race. It's like black folks don't think that assholes exist. There are people who are assholes, and will be assholes to others, regardless of their race. Just because you are a minority and someone was an a-hole towards you, doesn't mean that the motivation of that action was your race.

There is scientific evidence that supports unpopular explanations for the differences in races and behaviors. A lot of this research has been shunned and hidden but it's out there.

Statistically, cultures closer to the equator ( warm climate ) have higher rates of violence than cultures further from the equator ( colder climate ). But to note that fact is “racist”.

It is even the case within the U.S. Crime rates generally increase the further south, with warmer climate. Seasonally in the same location as well- crime increasing with heat waves and decreasing with cold snaps.

A lot of the kids they are claiming are being profiled are likely ones where the parents have already fricked up those kids so bad they will be behind the curve for the rest of their lives.

Many will end up in prison with felonious convictions. It all starts at home and if you have parents that don't give a frick and can barely take care of themselves as adults, the kids have zero chance. Rinse and repeat, the cycle continues; generation after generation.

I’ve been in the classrooms as a presenter on career day and and some other opportunities to speak. The white kids shut up when you ask them to stop blabbing. The black ones, not so.......

There isn’t enough information in that article to draw those conclusions. Here’s my theory:

Low-income kids tend to go to government-funded preschools, such as Head Start. Those kids tend to be disproportionately black. Middle and upper income kids tend to go to private preschools. Those kids tend to be disproportionately white.

Private preschools do not suspend kids as often as public ones, largely because parents can usually effectively address poor discipline. If they do suspend kids, I doubt those suspensions get reported to the government. Head Start probably follows the same sort of zero-tolerance policies that public schools follow. If one kid assaults another (such as biting or hitting), that kid gets suspended. In a private preschool, if the same behavior happens, the parents are called, and they handle the discipline. If they fail to do so effectively, the kid may get kicked out, but that is unlikely to be reported like it would in a public preschool.

Case in point: Twenty-ish years ago, we got a call that our daughter had bitten another kid. My husband left work, checked her out of school, took her across the street, and spanked her. He then checked her back in and assured them that there would be no further issues. There weren’t. She never had to get suspended because we dealt with it. Public preschools cannot really rely on such methods since they have to document everything. Therefore, the kids get suspended, and kids in public preschools are disproportionately black.

Teachers should not have to teach and also be parents. Sadly this is where we are at the crossroads

I wonder if this can be attributed to less fathers in the household, which generally means (not always), less discipline.

I was raised by my mom, sister and grandma bc my mom and dad got divorced when I was young. Now, looking back, when he wasn't around, my respect for authority and my discipline declined greatly. I started hanging around the wrong people, getting into trouble and selling drugs. I don't think this has anything to do with race. It has to do with how people are being raised. But alas, it's 2021 and admitting that is probably racist.

How the heck do you get suspended from school in preschool.

I honestly did not know that was a thing.

Biting

Our preschool daycare has no tolerance for biting. You might get one second chance but they’ll kick your arse out for that shite

Bank robbers go to jail FAR more than non-bank robbers. We need to fix this too.

See how utterly dumb this argument is?

If they would stop misbehaving disproportionately, then they would stop being disciplined disproportionally.

But black people are tired of being the ones doing all the crimes, they want the other races to join in is all.

What really pisses me off is that not enough black people step up and call their own community out on this bullshite. Only a handful of conservative black people are brave enough to do it.
