got mine in the mail today they want almost another $200 per month starting in 2021. Freakin ridiculous they go up every year

It’s exceptionally ridiculous this year since they likely had the most profitable year ever. Nobody went to the doctor for shite for about 4-5 months.

Nope, still the same. I pay a big fat zero.

I pay 495.00 & have 7500 deductible = 5940
I go to Dr 4 times a year @ 115.00 = 460
Meds are approx 80 a month through Good Rx = 960
There is no reason for me to have insurance other than a wreck or accident
The healthshare I’m looking at is around 300 per month, dr visit & meds will stay the same because of not being covered but at least it will save me a little

My parent company UHG made nearly 8 billion in Q2. That is ungodly. Sure premiums will go up next year... for me and everyone else with UHC.

That is sickening. All these people who don’t work or just got out of jail get free Medicaid.

Why would premiums go down ever? Their product must be purchased under the threat of violence from the Federal government.

It all depends on the policy and coverage.

Their product must be purchased under threat of bankruptcy, total life ruination, or death by something out of your control. You think premiums ever went down before obamacare? Not saying it helped, but it damn sure isn't the reason.

It’s health insurance...premiums always go up regardless of carrier.

So true, I understand they pocketed millions this year with no one utilizing healthcare for 4-5 months

Have Blue across PPO High Deductible Plan
$1500 for the deductible and $4250 max out of pocket for single.
Company gives us $800 in HSA.
Pretty good deal for $70 a month. Single. Wife has her own employer insurance.
Employers rate did not increase in last two years.
Hers is Texas Blue Cross High Deductible. This it’s $90 a month with $1500 deduct and $3550 max. They have some weird sliding scale though based on how much you make. Straight up socialist. Lower income employees pay pennies.
Hers has not increased in two years we been here.

Please don’t even start these lies this shite was happening long before Obama care and even steeper increases.

It has gotten to a point because employers aren't footing the health insurance bill liked they used to, plus the rates are huge, that it's almost worth not having any insurance and just pay full price as you go.
