OMAHA, Nebraska – There are saves and then there are saves.

Evan Aschenbeck truly earned his 10th of the year in Texas A&M’s 3-2 victory over Florida in a game that was not completed until 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning after a weather delay of more than four hours.

The tense victory before an announced crowd of 25,774 at Charles Schwab Field moves the Aggies into a winner’s bracket game at the Men’s College World Series vs. yet another SEC foe in Kentucky. They’ll meet Monday night at 7 p.m. ET.

Florida will now fall into the loser’s bracket and will face NC State in an elimination game at 2 p.m. ET on Monday.
