Where is the closest place I am to cool weather in Austin? If I’m going to be displaced for 3 weeks, I rather be somewhere with more pleasant weather. Taos/Angelfire

Angel Fire & Red River are more hospitable to visitors these days. NM has a 14-day quarantine requirement for out of state visitors and some Taos residents have spraypainted "Go Home" on buildings in the Plaza and keyed cars with out of state tags.

Last night we were gathering data points from a bucket with a chain tied to the ocean floor. This sounds like improvement to me.

fricking Rummy and his nightmare-inducing stranded, clinging to a buoy in the middle of the ocean with a monster hurricane bearing down on you scenario. Dammit!

Good luck getting that done with the people who will be in charge of Houston from now until the rest of time.

I imagine this also includes some plants in Beaumont that are taking extra precaution. Still, 425 plants is hard to comprehend.

Just stopping in to say RIP to my mother's former dream home on the water that she built on Moss Lake Lane in Carlyss, Louisiana, just up from Calcasieu Lake. It was a solid 20+ year run. Shortly it will be like a wood and brick grounded submarine. I'm glad I moved you to Florida, Mom. What a great house.

storm2k might be full of the wishcasting, but it's a great place to farm imagery.
