Trump is not a conservative.
You people are going to be pissed when this leads to more "socialism."

The American people deserve to hear the garbage in this bill. They deserve to hear arguments for and against its passage.

Massie can spout and advocate his fiscal purity/responsibility from a comfortable easy chair back in Kentucky beginning in November.

I do not understand the lack of principles of the so called conservatives on this. Then attacking one of, if not the most, conservative member of house republicans, wtf

how many trillions of dollars are you willing to support being "borrowed" over the next 12 months? what is your cutoff point?

He damn sure is not a conservative.
If he thought advocating for national health care as he once did would win PA, WI, OH and MI he would take it up today.

There are very few REAL Conservatives on this board.

If we're going to throw $2 trillion on top of the existing national debt, this bill should be debated. The American people deserve to hear the garbage in this bill. They deserve to hear arguments for and against its passage. Massie is today's Ron Paul. He is a true believer when it comes to limiting government, which 3/4 of Americans have ZERO interest in.
This is an emergency funding bill. Time matters. And, there is zero chance that it doesn't pass.
Use your common sense and realize that the arguments for and against this bill can be had after it is passed. Massey can vote against it and then go on the airwaves for as long as he wants to make his case for why we shouldn't have done it.
But, slowing down the process doesn't accomplish anything other than slowing down the process.

This much. Now stop whining

No this is fiscally irresponsible. Much better ways to stimulate the economy. Trump was right the first time with cutting payroll tax. Do that for 18 months and he wins reelection and the economy is back and better than ever.
How will that help companies that go out of business? I mean, even if he were to have done this right of the gate, the shutdown was going to ruin quite a few businesses. That means people out of work, which logically means hardships for the middle class.
Was it politically motivated...sure. But it is also a calculated response concerning the direction of the economy imho.
Oh yeah, one last thing...frick the Dems.

I understand desperate times call for desperate measures. This is a 2 trillion plus bill that is being voted on basically as a voice vote. I can promise you 0 percent of house members have read the bill (and probably 0 percent of senate members as well, to be fair).
This bill is going to have far-reaching and long-lasting issues.
Reality is, having a roll call vote Saturday or Sunday isn't going to cause the members to read the bill or be able to offer substantive debate on it.

well tariffs and protectionism, defense spending, raising the debt ceiling in August with hardly a protest(it was IMHO a deal with Pelosi to pass the milquetoast USMCA), FMLA expansion---do I need to go on? support of this pork laden, government expanding bill
