Trey Holly's court case has been moved to December 18 after the prosecution team presented new evidence against the LSU running back this week.

Holly was suspended from the football team in the offseason after he was arrested in connection with a February 9th shooting that left two people injured. Per KnoeNews:

During the latest court hearing the prosecution turned over bodycam footage, that will be reviewed by Holly’s defense team.

Keishia Cornett was seriously injured in the shooting and attended the court hearing.

“I got shot twice in my back, I got grazed on the side of my chest, and it hit my lungs,” Cornett said. Cornett also expressed her desire for justice. “I want him to get punished because I don’t deserve this. I’m an innocent person. Thank God that I’m here and I’m still living.”

Following his arrest, Holly was suspended from the LSU football team. Initially charged with attempted murder, the jury dismissed that count, but Holly still faces charges of illegal use of a weapon and aggravated criminal damage to property.

Holly’s next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 18 at the Union Parish Courthouse, where his defense team said they will push for a thorough review of the newly submitted evidence.

Always 1 player a season on LSU roster that does something like this. A life changing felony or something that makes them ineligible. I can tell you for certain, it is never the players described as "a student of the game" "first one in, last one out" "x's and o's guy"

What I don’t get is in most cases that have gone this far police worn body cam footage would have been viewed by now. Something fishy is afoot

I'm guessing the body cam footage is of Holly acting in a certain, less than ideal, way upon the officer's arrival. Probably him holding the gun, or waving it around, or a "frick you pookie" while still trying to throw bullets down range.

If Holly is convicted, he’s going to have a rough time in prison being that he “allegedly” shot a girl.

Innocent until proven guilty and tape of her saying what happened is hearsay. So I bet there is more.

Would you feel that same way if it was your family member that got hurt?

If it’s the body cam is just of her saying he did it that in itself is not an open and shut case. Could be lying. Could be wrong. Especially if she was shot from behind but it does make things more difficult.

I know for legal reasons why BK said he wasn't with the team but this stuff coming out basically seals his fate. BK is just gonna wait until the trial ends for optics.

Holly will never wear an LSU football uniform again…and I am not sure I have a problem with that.

Yep, I am done with this guy. He doesn't deserve to wear the purple and gold in Tiger Stadium for LSU.
