I think better than half the forum understands this about him. Shame that they so-seldom call him out for it, because they so-often agree with his stupidity.

How will that help companies that go out of business? I mean, even if he were to have done this right of the gate, the shutdown was going to ruin quite a few businesses. That means people out of work, which logically means hardships for the middle class.

Was it politically motivated...sure. But it is also a calculated response concerning the direction of the economy imho.

Oh yeah, one last thing...frick the Dems.

#1 people have to go back to work, now so open things back for those that can not work from home. Encourage all precautions that can be reasonably taken, to be taken.

#2 cut payroll tax on both sides, employer and employee.

#3 if you absolutely feel you must give some form of assistance, this should have been strictly a two bill stimulus with single issues in each.

#1 give however much you deem necessary directly to people in the form of a Tax credit and have it be an advance on 2020, like they are but single issue only

#2 pass what you deem necessary for sba assistance

Not the bullshite that was passed. Doing something for the sake of doing something is worse than doing nothing.

Are we talikong about massie or trump? You seem to be speaking of trump and not massie.

Rogers comment was about massie not trump.

Massie is a hero doing his part to prop up the travel industry by creating a need for their services by House Members. Through the efforts of this one man airlines workers and taxis will generate revenue.

If you follow his voting record this isn’t for attention, he’s always been libertarian when voting and has never voted for crap like this. I applaud him,

Oh my God, he expects them to do their job?

I think it’s the huge delay it’s going to cause
Only 30 people in the room at once
Only 2 people in the elevator at a time
Plus the time for everyone that has to travel

You actually believe that some nobody, throwawy challenger to an eight-year incumbent will win the GOP primary in the Kentucky 4th.

Massie’s position is entirely consistent with his entire voting record, and he has been re-elected repeatedly.

And you use “TDS” to describe OTHERS.

Use your common sense and realize that the arguments for and against this bill can be had after it is passed.

Hmmm, Pelosi said the same thing. How about, stop knee jerk reacting and obeying all things Trump and think rationally and conservatively. This is a garbage fricking bill and we should not be handing people checks. This should be tied, 100% with unemployment.

Because there are conservatives and Trump cultists that parade around as conservatives.
