It's 20-30 feet wide near its origin. I could handle that.

Where it meets at Lake Itasca, the river is between 20 and 30 feet wide.

If we are talking about any part of the Mississippi River that goes through Louisiana. If anyone says yes, I have to assume they have no idea how strong the current is.

Well... For comparison sake. The distance that she swam was only about 0.5 miles, the Ironman triathlon swim distance is 2.4 miles.

So the feat by this pyscho chick is impressive, but not astounding.

I am sure I could do it. I think the focus needs to be on planning your route so the current sets you down on the opposite bank.

Yes and no

She swam south, but if she took the path they suggested, she was absolutely swimming against the current the entire time

There is no real physical way she possibly took the path they are saying
