If you look on their website it shows if you order the Gladiator it is only contains 3 grams of carbs and 1 gram of sugar. But if you add fruits to it, it shoots up drastically to like 65 carbs and 50 grams of sugar. Do their "fruits" really contain that much sugar?

Managed at a few SK's while in college. Almost all of their fruits are concentrated juice. The strawberries come frozen in a sugar syrup. The peaches and pineapples are canned. The only fresh fruit they use are the bananas.

Their smoothies are tasty, but definitely not "healthy"

A few of them aren't horrible. The Lean1 ones are pretty reasonable on the carbs/sugar scale.

Forget which one, but there was one they offer with over 100g of carbs for a 20oz. That is insane.

Yea you can get a pretty healthy smoothie there. YOu can also get a really unhealthy one as well. As you said, some of the Lean1 ones and gladiator ones and what not can be pretty good for you if done right.

As someone else has said, they have moved towards using more fresh fruit for the smoothies in recent years, though i'm sure they still use plenty of syrups and what not.

Yep. The campaign is called "Cleaner Blending" but I don't think it's everywhere. I believe it's coming to Louisiana soon.

The new model is “clean blending” the original smoothies will be phased out over time so the smoothies will have less added sugar.

This is good news. I've avoided them for a while because you couldn't get anything without a ton of sugar/carbs in it.

I think the vanilla shredder has a bunch of protein and pretty low in the calorie category. I thought that was healthy but not sure about the sugars.

Idk when they switched to plastic cups, but I went for the first time in a while and that was a big change. I nearly turned around and bought the koozie, that cup nearly froze my hands

Haha i like the new clear plastics.

Some of the Clean Blending smoothies are in LA- Mangofest I think... it still has like 60+ grams of sugar in a small!

Go with a Gladiator (8G Base Carbs) with Greek Yogurt (3G Carb) and Whole Raspberries (8G Carbs). Total carb count 19. You got to know how to mix, and match. They are rolling out cleaner blending currently though it’s not fully implemented in Louisiana yet. Eliminating added sugar in most smoothies, and introducing more Whole fruits.
