On the verge of taking the final Infinity Stone and thus becoming all-powerful, Thanos is confronted by Emma Watson. She lectures him on his toxic masculinity to the point where he finally gives her the Infinity Gauntlet just to shut her the hell up.
Watson places the final gem and gains ultimate power. With that power she wipes out all males on the planet. The movie ends with a song & dance based on the Spice Girls' song "Girl Power".

Having hinted in previous movies that the Infinity Stones are extremely powerful artifacts, they will turn out to be mere rocks with no plot utility whatsoever.
Thanos, arguably the most powerful and threatening being in the Marvel universe, will be played for laughs.
As others have said, Captain America will be in hiding, convinced that the idea of the superhero must die. Stan Lee will appear in ghost form to counsel him, inexplicably agree that superheroes are and have always been stupid, and set fire to the last remaining comic books on earth with his ghostly mind powers.
The Avengers will win in the end by running away so successfully that Thanos is befuddled and goes to do something else.

Black Widow can suddenly fly and survive in space
All white Male characters turn evil. All Avengers are replaced by women (Which basically happened in the comics)
Captain America dies in a completely pointless and absurd way, while demonstrating a power nobody has ever had.
Also everyone is a Mary Sue, and there are literally no stakes. . .because the real plot is just to save some weird horse things, but not rescue actual child slaves.
In the end, all iconic male characters should be dead with no semblance of meaning or legacy remaining.

It’s sad but I can honestly see Johnson doing this exact plot based on his moronic creative take on TLJ...
