Crazy to see how much fan sentiment can change in less than 12 months.

Crazy what happens when you stop selling Derek Carr, Dennis Allen, and the player away mentality

Also crazy what happens when you build a team organically. I dont know what our record is gonna be but the Saints are gonna be fun to watch again. We got some burners and dawgs.
On paper I would fap to that class.
I love the optimism

And we need it as Saints fans.

Shough played great in messed up situations but also against mostly average or bad teams

This year is to gauge Shough with talent, against the league but what we didnt see last year was Shough against the best. That matters. Shough in a shootout on the road with division on the line or olay9ng so and so with conference standing on the line.

This is us making a step toward competing but still feeling out the waters. Its the smart approach.

Like Mikey said when you had Drew you were always a player away. They aren't doing that with Shough. Shough has to earn his right to stay QB of New Orleans but all Kellen did was shower you with love and support. So im really excited. I think our HC believes in this guy and I saw the same glimpses you did...then you do this...your giving him everything he needs.
Let the chefs cook

They had a good draft a year ago

I like this one alot more. Some risk involved yes. However the potential. In 3 years our 2 best WRs might be from this draft and not the guy you are paying 35-40 million per year to.

Our first goal is competing for and winning the division. We have a chance to do just that this year.

As for SBs...thats not their mindset. Not this year. We are still polishing the foundation. If the Saints and Shough want to overachieve year 2 more power to them. Moore is just resetting the entire roster which is exactly what Sean did when he arrived.

If you are relying on a 5th round guy to start at CB you are in a world of hurt.

June 1st, 3rd stage FA, and off-season trades still exist for those holes
VJ Payne S KSU
Demond Claiborne RB WF
Domani Jackson CB Bama

I could get behind these 3
Abney is undersized
Rivers can be easily supplemented with a vet castoff

Styles is probably 80% gonna flop but if you hit its a draft steal at the league level. Depends on coaching and scheme to make it work long term.

Like the previous poster said...at this point we aren't drafting starters. We are taking depth and ST which year one he could do well at.
4.2 speed

Convert WR to Safety. Raw but obvious natural ball skills. Not a year 1 player most likely but I like the potential.

Also guessing his brother just went round 1 so good genetics
Johnson/Delp/Fant
Olave/Tyson/Lance/Vele/Polk
Etienne/Kamara/TBD

All the cap and capital in the OL

This offense could be real nice once we figure everything out
Didn't know we already set our 53 for opening day...
We actually took 4 WRs

Vele 4th
Polk 6th
Just the WR room alone next year

Olave
Tyson
Lance
Vele
Polk
Palmer

Tipton, Means, whoever else is added

That has the potential to be a solid and respectable WR room

player the Raiders gave up on. No shot this could possibly fail
I'll always remember the time they traded Randy Moss for a 4th lol
Im not saying get your hopes up but he was drafted in the 1st for a reason and the Raiders are not a good organization. Does he have to figure some things out sure...but 5ths are scratch offs anyway. Id like the trade a lot more if Cam is also on the roster to mentor and teach him. We also just got Chases best season in years. It has potential...could work or flop but its interesting.

Demond Claiborne RB is still someone I like a lot. Perfect spell back. Small but 4.3 speed.

Just gonna trust the staff. They have had a very impressive draft so far.
Being a LSU fan first taught me to expect nothing from Harold Perkins.

Dudes are slightly more accomplished equally disappointing Arik Gilbert
Who's your favorite Pelicans Basketball player?

Just first person you see
...if you look this way lmao

Do you know what this event was for? Just curious. Oschner Children's Hospital but was it a fund raiser or?? Just a Q&A for the kids?
