I wouldn't mind TLJ humor in a Marvel movie but it was so inconsistent with the tone that 8 previous films set!

Movie opens on Thor's ship being engulfed by Thano's lasers. Thor and all his people are dead...but suddenly Valkyrie travels through space...inexplicably able to breathe in space..she circles Thano's ship, over and over and over.... Thanos's neck twists around and around and around and his head just pops off...it just pops off right there. Valkyrie then finds Thor's hammer just chilling in space and plays baseball with the pieces of Thor's ship and puts it all back together. Thor reaches for his hammer but Valkyrie says, "hammers are for girls now. #metoo"
Thor's people thank her and Thor goes in for a kiss...but, enter Valkyrie's lesbian lover who slaps Thor and begins to scissor Valkyrie...it is not pleasurable to watch at all because Valkyrie's lesbian lover is actually a transgendered alien with 4 ugly arse heads.
Hit: STAR WARS: INFINITY WARS scroll
At the end of a complex scroll with little to no progression of the plot the camera pans to the Guardians ship being chased by unknown bad guys. Peter Quill makes sexist joke that everyone laughs at...Mantis replies that he is being a sexist pig and that he should stop doing that. Quill goes silent, never to joke again. Rocket make sarcastic reply to Mantis, but she shoots him in the face. Asian Mantis takes over Guardians...a lot of Yoko Ono music being played in the background.
Transition to (literally) Steve Rogers trying on a pink cape and new rainbow shield. "I want to represent everyone, especially those who are underrepresented."
That's only the first 5 minutes...

Well naturally he will jettison all previous plot and make it so that Captain America has ALWAYS been a hydra agent.
Tony will have a new sassy young black 15 year old girl as an apprentice and will totally out do him on every level.
Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel will show up out of the blue and take charge of the Avengers.
Falcon will take up Captain America shield and be the new Captain America since Steve turn out to be a hydra agent.
Hulk will introduce his female cousin who will be the one to do the important stuff while Hulk just provides back ground muscles.
Valkyrie will become the new God of Thunder after Thor death, she also reveal that she is a raging lesbaian (Official in the comics)
Spider-Man will take a back seat to the new young girl Ms. Marvel aka a Pakastani muslim who role model up to that point is the greatest hero in the world Carol Danvers.
Finally Black Widow ill be killed by Thanos in a moment of heroism that will by the rest of the Avengers time.
Avengers Infinity War Part 2 will feature the all new diverse cast finishing off what the orignal white wash Avengers couldn't. Thanos.

You know what is sad? All of that is insanely close to stuff that has actually happened in the comics.
But to be fair, Marvel comics has been absolute shite the last few years.
