We'll be in BR next week and have plans to meet up with friends for dinner and Roux 61 has been suggested.

The menu looks good. Anything to recommend? Anything we should steer clear of?

Best restaurant gumbo I've ever had but they charge an arm and a leg for it now.

Always had good food there, but I rarely recommend it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that restaurant.

Their peacemaker poboy is very good. They do a good job frying the oysters.

Food is good. Their fried green tomatoes app is fire. As others have said, the restaurant is great.

I am only about 45 minutes from the Natchez location versus ~38ish from the BR location. I normally opt to go to the Natchez location.

Food is good. Portions are huge. Clientele doesn't tip much.

I've had great and terrible, in season the raw oysters are served cold and salty, one of the best wedge salads I've ever had, grilled oysters were disappointing, stay away from seafood poboys.

If you go at night, no one else there leaves a tip.

Asian glazed wings are the best wings in town.

I also like their steak bites.

Also, I've never ordered anything else from the menu except their appetizers.

There chargrilled oysters smell delicious, but I don't care for oysters.

It not terrible just kinda average ...I would go down the street or around the corner to Rouj Creole or Louisiana Lagniappe if you are looking for a really outstanding meal.

Last time I went they automatically added an 18% service fee that the manager said wasn't supposed to be a tip for the waitress. I was supposed to tip in addition to the 18% they added.

Haven't been back since.

My favorite in BR. Best grilled oysters. Especially the Diablo ones. Roux burger best in town. Never had a bad meal there.

It's good, but man, their food is so heavy and rich... afterwards you're gonna need a nap

Food is good. Asked about a Bloody Mary and the waitress told me “we have the best Bloody Mary you’ll ever have”
She was a liar.

Was there a few weeks back. Attended a luncheon, around 30 folks, food and drinks were great. Service was a lot better than most, with a party that size.
