re: Nothing beats fresh picked from the garden- Tabouli and Tomatoes (pics) - L Boogie
That looks incredible. I want a garden SO. BAD. Unfortunately, no room at this house. Maybe next time....

re: WFDT? - L Boogie
I actually GOT the recipe from this board! It doesn't sound like it would work, but it totally does. Also, very few ingredients, healthy and it's super easy. The prep is the most time-consuming part. Highly recommend. I use [link=(https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/food-and-drink/shrimp-and-...

re: who's had a haircut? - L Boogie
I have one scheduled for the 10th. I have to wear a mask, and I have to wait outside on the street until my stylist is ready to take me. Also, they "can't" blow dry, due to complaints from other guests, but the receptionist told me it's more of a case-by-case basis, so we'll see what happens th...

re: Top Chef: All-Stars L.A. (starts 3/19) - L Boogie
Well, I loved this episode, because my girl Steph rocked it, and because I've been to Japan a few times and have fallen in love with the food, culture and tradtions there. I hope the offer for the Olympics still stands for her for next year. Elimination was fine, I was worried for Mel for a ...

re: how does the OT feel about child-free weddings? - L Boogie
You get that you want a wedding celebration
 The difference is, no money spent on dress, flowers, catered dinner, etc. It's so much money for nothing but stress and frustration, for a few hours. Never made sense to me, and I hate being the center of attention so I have tr...

re: how does the OT feel about child-free weddings? - L Boogie
what a lucky lady
  I'm engaged and have zero plans to have an actual wedding. City Hall works just fine for us, and I like thinking of all the other things we can do with the money we save. I'm a lady and consider myself extremely lucky to be able to make ...

New ideas for vegetables - L Boogie
We have been cooking a ton in the last few months, obviously, which is great because we both like it and we're able to try out some new things that we haven't done before. We are both meat eaters, but I try to put some sort of veggie as a side with every meal I make, because food groups. Howev...

re: Traveling with macque choux - L Boogie
Well, we were going to use the ice chest for beer, but I bet we have a spare guy lying around somewhere that we can use for the corn. Reheating on site isn't really an option, so as long as it's not ice cold upon arrival I'll feel okay about it. I've just only ever had it warm, so I'm not sure...

Traveling with macque choux - L Boogie
My SO's boss invited us to a block party BBQ tomorrow and we wanted to bring a side dish. Decided on macque choux because it's easy and delicious, and most people up here have probably never heard of it  I was going to prepare it later this afternoon, then put into a pan and reheat tomorrow...

re: How do you feel about restaurants adding a 15% order surcharge? - L Boogie
I have zero issue with it, as long as it is disclosed. It is going to be a long, hard road ahead for bars and restaurants, and if I can do my part to make sure that the places I love survive, I'm happy to do it. If at any point I can't afford to pay a little bit extra to go out, I will no longer...
