I've visited Japan twice.
It is incredible. You will love it and never want to leave.
Happy to give recommendations if I can!

If they weather holds up, we're frying fish.
If it rains all day, it will be ribs on the smoker with some sides.

The corn grits are amazing.
I haven't been there in many years but I still think about them.

My friend had an early dinner at the Tex-Mex place down the street from me, so she dropped me off a surprise snack.
Will chase with Vodka waters while I watch the game.

Lamb is very underrated
It's my favorite protein. I cook it fairly often, though I've never tried my hand at chops because they're too expensive to screw up.
I make some mean Lamb meatballs, though, and an awesome lamb stew, using shank.
We went out for steaks last night so I had leftovers.
Horseradish-crusted filet
Loaded baked potato
Burgundy mushrooms
I have some calamari and shrimp as well but saving that for tomorrow.

Pinthouse!
I worked there for a few years before I moved away.
Several locations, and the Electric Jellyfish IPA is the Flagship beer. If you go to the Brewhouse on 71 they have a more extensive food menu.
Great beer, great people.

Watching LSU baseball but also watching Ryan Hall so I know if I need to hunker down in my downstairs bathroom.
I don't usually fear weather but I do not do tornadoes. I'm stressed.
