t starts out liquid and turns to what looks like a wet sand then back to liquid

Yea mine is more wet sand than clump I guess. But it doesn’t go back to liquid before I get the color I want. But everything is fine after I add trinity and stock. And I was using new flour
Mine always does this. It always turns out fine, but I haven’t seen it happen in any videos I watch. I use 1.5 cups oil to 2 cups of flour.

I live for God but I drink and cuss Bc I’m human - He knows that, he created me

Of course. For me, when it comes to cussing, I think of being salt and the light. When people see me, I want them to see a Christian man. Not some sailor that goes to church on Sundays. And as far as drinking goes, the biggest mistakes I’ve made in life have involved drinking. But I’ve always had a hard time drinking without getting drunk. I realized I had a problem so I cut it out.
“If I were the devil, how would I attack me?”
A lot of people try to bend the word to fit their lifestyle, instead of bending their lifestyle to live by the word.

Largely, people who don't cuss are like people who don't drink....I don't trust 'em.

I was in this same boat for a very long time. And not very long ago. But it all changed when I started living for God.
I try not to cuss anymore, but sometimes slip up. And I would drink every now and then if I only knew when to stop.

Gumbo for lunch (cooked the night before for time sake) and etouffee for dinner.
I had one in high school. I bought a big bag of peach flavored tobacco from Walgreens.
It always got a good laugh at parties when I’d break it out and start smoking it.

I mean it’s basically like steak bologna… I put it in the same category as the frozen meatballs. You’re definitely not going to write home about it but it has its place.

Made some last night and stuck in the freezer. I did just a little less powdered sugar than recipe calls for.
Made a bananas foster and put on top of one of the pies today and stuck it in the fridge. I took it to a Christmas party tonight and it was a hit. My buddies wife said it was the best pie she’s ever had.

Richard’s is the only brand my local grocery store carries. It does the job but I wish I had better options.
If life ever slows down, I’ll make my own.

I would try to make that for sure
I fried for a big group this weekend. We had chicken, fish, pickles, fries, and hush puppies.
The lowest my oven will go is 170°. I kept the food in there while I was finishing everything up and some of it started to get soggy.
I had the food in disposable aluminum pans lined with paper towels. Idk if that hurt anything.
Love it or hate it, 7 and 18 are a part of LSU football. We’ve had some misses, but we’ve also had some pretty bad teams. It will all work itself out.
Just win baby!!!

Used to take me around the same. The more you do it the more your confidence grows and you bump the heat up

When I buy Cane’s, I’m supporting LSU. Case closed.

I’ve thought about making this with some kind of bananas foster topping. I love peanut butter/ banana.
My only fear is it being too sweet.
