Try to go to chimes at some point. Walk ons after the game is always fun and walkable.
As far as tailgating, get there early and walk around. Approach people and tell them where you’re from and this is your first LSU game and they will welcome you in with open arms. Expect some good food and hospitality. The game should be fun regardless of how the season has gone. And be prepared to be surprised at how terrible the bathrooms are inside of the stadium.

I have two in my freezer for when I get a free weekend to make some boudin
When I make gumbo I do 1 3/4 cup fat to 2 cups flour, 5 quarts stock which is 160oz. I also add roughly 6lbs of chicken and 4lbs of sausage.
It can feed about 20 people, or give my family of four 3-4 days of leftovers (the best part).
I’d take a bite out of your bowl to try it, but I’m not ruining my bowl with it.

Rec tec pellet grill, blackstone, akorn charcoal grill, r&v works 4 gallon fryer, and 6.5 gallon jambalaya pot with burner.
ETA: 100 qt crawfish pot and burner
These are all things that I’ve accumulated over a 10 year span. Start with things you know you’ll use the most, and go from there. A man can never have too many toys. Plus the wife won’t be too mad because she gets to eat whatever you cook.
Browning it really adds some flavor. Plus if you add the sausage too soon it loses its flavor

I add my raw trinity to the finished hot roux to stop it darkening any further. Then sauté the veggies in the roux for 5-6 minutes to soften them.

This is how I do it. I smoke boneless thighs for extra depth of flavor. Brown my sausage in a separate skillet and add at the end.
I remember it being a big deal to my mom growing up. We never won anything other than some free fries or something like that. I don’t know of anyone that’s ever won anything big.
I rarely eat McDonald’s these days, but saw a commercial for it and wonder if anyone has a cool story.

I’ve had shower thoughts of having a restaurant named Sauce. Have a variety of sauces that are the star of the dish

Ran through one the other day to get the cheap 2 for $7 ham sandwich deal they have. Saw the steak bites and ordered the smallest I could get without paying much attention to the price. It was 6 little pieces of “steak” for just shy of $7. Wasn’t impressed and won’t be ordering again.
If you grew up eating Johnny’s Pizza then you grew up dipping your pizza in nacho cheese sauce.
I have a mcware 15 that my wife got me for Christmas years ago. It’s cooked a many gumbo. Have no complaints and really enjoy it.
I’m not proud to admit that I normally just buy the frozen ones. I’m wanting to step my game up for a fish fry I’m having Saturday.

expect to spend about 2k+

I was afraid of this. Was hoping I wouldn’t have to spend that much. I’m not opposed to buying used, I just don’t really know what I’m looking at. Trek seems to be the popular brand on market place

I need help choosing a road bike

I’d like to get into riding but I’m completely ignorant. What should I be expecting to spend? I obviously don’t want to break the bank on my first bike but don’t want to be wasting my time either. What brands should I look for? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
I hate spending a lot of money on this since they’ll be grown out of it by the end of the season. Especially boots.

What up chef! I’m the drunk guy that kept bugging you at the Up Yonder fest in Monroe lol
Gotta say I really like Stir The Pot! Keep it up.
I actually followed your recipe for roux peas last night and they came out bangin!
Care to say what shop is yours? I might would pay a visit if you say you have some good deals in there
You seem really bothered. Don’t get invited to many tailgates? I like jambalaya. I actually prefer pastalaya but many older people think it’s blasphemy. I hope you find what you’re looking for.
