Actually the best tasting nut I ever had was a wild hickory nut. Had to use a sledge hammer to crack it open but it was very flavorful. I also like roasted salted pecans.

Keep a wide variety on hand: almonds, pecans, walnuts, cashews, peanuts, Brazil.

Tried some boiled peanuts once at a street market in South Carolina, spit them in the garbage can. Don’t understand the attraction behind that cooking idea. Maybe somebody can explain it to me.

Cashews, macadamia and pistachio are top three answers. Walnuts and almonds round out the top five.

I think they have another name though.

They taste like dirt. They are terrible.

Brazil Nuts. They're best unsalted and uncooked.

The Korean BBQ almonds are really good, too.

Almonds and pecans are my top 2 by far

Just a guess, but you’ve probably never had them done right.
