....watch the videos in the link. Nearly all of the clips show them pointing a gun at the victims. Typically people like it when the bad guys get shot and not innocent people just trying to make it home from work.

This wasn't a pickpocket. The carjacker was armed and attempted to take his vehicle by force. How did the guy know the perp wouldn't shoot him just for fun?
