Y’all sucked for a couple years, fired a coach, made a boring hire, and had the coach that every single one of y’all wanted to keep leave and then expect to not get any crap on a site called tigerdroppings.

You think we got any mercy on the cc board on our own dang website when we hired Ed friggin Orgeron after missing on Tom Herman? How about when the Lincoln Riley rumors blew up and then Brian Kelly had zero assistants follow him

Go back to texags if you want a safe space

Mmm hmmm that's right.

I took a time out last year because of comments made on the coaching board. Thats the reason I ask. Are the rules different this year? Apparently so when it comes to LSU folks. Understood.

No shite. It's better than a majority of the country. Hell I'd move there if there was much O&G

To keep it relevant, Passwaters seems to think there's some smoke to A&M hiring Adam Fuller. Elko has some connection with him so it's possible. But it's also Passwaters so it's probably bullshite.

..which he was, because it looks like Scott Symons (SMU) will be our DC.

I actually like the staff that Elko is putting together. Not a bunch of recruiters but a mix of recruiting and actual teachers. I'm definitely excited about Cushing, and Spencer. And I think Klein could be a truly great OC hire. And Ish at CB's - he was extremely popular his first stint through CS with Elko ...

We will see about the rest. I have no idea who the DC will be, because Symons runs a three man front. He isn't the right fit unless he is changing his style. Elko has traditionally run a four man front and prefers one.

He’s okay. Solid recruiter, in my opinion our DB play and development has been nothing to write home about. Particularly at corner. I’m indifferent toward keeping him even understanding there will be some attrition if he leaves

And it’s very unlikely we keep him at this point anyway

Just like I don't think Woodward and co would block Kelly from getting the "right guy" over a few hundred k if he really believed in them.

Bingo! Woody has been there for Kelly, giving him what’s needed. Woody will continue to feed the Cash Cow. Continue to get a ROI.

I know nothing about him other than he was fired by UNC and coached linebackers for a couple of bad Florida teams.

Objectively, unless he can recruit, it doesn't seem like a great hire? I guess Elko will call the defense but it seems less than inspiring.

If your head coach is going to call the defense, you probably shouldn't hire a 50 year old white guy from Virginia to recruit Texas/LA athletes and linebackers Seems like it would have been a great idea to just give Robinson the DC title if they were going in this direction.

Looks like he had some good defenses at Army, but I genuinely don't know how that would translate to a real schedule. Looks like his best defense at UNC was 43rd and at Florida they were terrible, but I don't necessarily put that on him.
