I’m have no sources, but I can’t believe those are “hard” numbers. I get that you have to draw a line somewhere and cant give HCs blank checks to hire their staffs, but you cant spend hundreds of millions on the HC, facilities, players, etc…and cock block them on assistants over a few grand. I assume anybody that leaves A&M is doing so because Elko doesn't know them well enough to fight for them. He may think Robinson is a good DT, but isnt worth the capital (financial or political) to fight for however many 100ks it would take to keep him in College Station. Just like I don't think Woodward and co would block Kelly from getting the "right guy" over a few hundred k if he really believed in them.

The Robinson thing has nothing to do with money. He wants a chance to call plays and is getting it, he would have stayed a position coach (maybe co DC in title) at A&M. There is a strong chance he's taking a pay cut as the Syracuse DC vs what he would have gotten at A&M.

Rumors are one thing, but the CC board used to be more like the MSB. Now it's just secr lite with all the aggy gay huh huh huh. This is mostly due to knuckle dragging swamp billies from the tiger rant oozing in here.

Sean Spencer replacing per Thamel. Not super hyped up about it. I know he had a great rep from his time at Penn State but the Florida tenure seemed poor

Y’all sucked for a couple years, fired a coach, made a boring hire, and had the coach that every single one of y’all wanted to keep leave and then expect to not get any crap on a site called tigerdroppings.
You think we got any mercy on the cc board on our own dang website when we hired Ed friggin Orgeron after missing on Tom Herman? How about when the Lincoln Riley rumors blew up and then Brian Kelly had zero assistants follow him
