Wait…. what? Please elaborate I haven’t heard this.
Apologies to the grammar police I was a Marine Infantryman and can’t type for shite.
In this guy’s defense our colors are Yellow and some sort of bluish purple combination. I love how our helmets are real purple but don’t match any other part of our uniforms it’s beautiful. We need to take a page from TGBFTL and those are our real colors. We need to just give Nike the memo of whoever at LSU who is color blind.
Pete Golding is such a tough guy, I’m so impressed by his no nonsense approach. I’m about as impressed as Michigan, Penn State, Florida, Tulane, North Texas etc that tried so hard to pry him away from Ole Miss.
Agree with Hoosiers being the best sports movie. I love me some Louden Swain too though.
So, Bama is cool with 3-4 losses a year now. As an LSU fan with a real coach now I approve of this new Alabama norm.
He’s obviously a fantastic HS HC but is his specialty the D Line?

It's simple, ask one of the new offensive coaches that isn't good at or does not like to recruit not to. Let Frank keep associate head coach and handle recruiting duties for the new assistant and allow him to be on field since on field roles are no longer limited. I really don't think anyone wants to see Frank go elsewhere...but then again money only stretches so far and maybe they want to use it on the new assistants...

This is what I've been thinking but do no trust my "expertise" on putting together coaching staffs. Someone on the staff has to be the worst recruiter but loves to coach? IDK, I would hate to lose Frank as a recruiter. I'm not worried with Kevin Smith coming in with the whole coaching running backs thing, that guy is really good.

I really hope ND is left out but I think the POS Committee avoids the Miami-ND conflict that they have been taken a beating on. That means Bama is out and after last night they don't look like a playoff team at all, what was it -3 yards rushing? ND doesn't deserve to be in based on their pathetic schedule, they play two teams worth a shite and lose both. You cant ignore the fact during their great 10 game win streak half of those teams have lost EIGHT games or more and beat one Top 25 team.
Who are we not bringing back? We do not have a spot on the field for a specific ST coach at the moment.

He’s 8-3 with Jeff fricking Sims at QB along with a number of other key injuries. I’d take him in a heartbeat. He would absolutely kill it here and you would love him.
You guys sound like you feel about Stricklin how we felt about Alleva.
I love Dillingham, to the point Kiffin would have been 1A and Dillingham would have been my 1B. I think the guy would be a Superstar at LSU.

As an LSU fan please do not go get Dillingham.

Pat Summerall? That would be a terrible hire!
Gentlemen, can someone explain the meaning of leverage to me again please. I’m confused.
Honestly Gsta, he is a really good, old school coach that doesn’t take any shite. But what makes him a fit in BR might not in Gainesville. We love good defense and you guys love a wide open offense so who know? I thought you guys might go after Kliff, what happened to that?
What are you talking about “blowing it”? LSU could not have done more to land Kiffin. If he stays then it’s because he wants to stay at a place he built up and I think coaching the playoffs is obviously a HUGE pull. Florida had him until we got involved and blew them out of the water. I’m not a Kiffin guy tbh and would rather Dilly or Sumrall in that order. That being said, if it’s Kiffin he is obviously a really good coach especially for the new landscape of College Football.
How can you ask such a question? Seriously! After Tom Herman and Lincoln Riley I’m not sure what it feels like to actually get your first choice.
