Good to hear. I would love to know how much of the current staff Jimbo would want to keep. I would think most of the defensive staff and maybe Craig on offense since he has coached under Jimbo before.

Well he is a HC right now and undefeated! 42-7

I can envision a whole lot of proven HC that I would take CEO over. He is FIXING stuff.

Bring. Him. Back.

ETA: To be clear, I'd gladly take Herman. I just feel that Jimbo is going to be the one.

Would be nice if we could go the ohiostate route and have jimbo (or herman) on the recruiting trail while coach o wraps up the season and bowl.

He's won a national championship. Of course he'd be a #1 target.

I prefer Kelly / Herman, but Jimbo Fisher is still a home run hire.

Who ever it is if it's not Orgeron, I hope both Orgeron and Aranda is kept.

I figured with every game he loses he becomes that much easier to pry away.

My problem with Jimbo is that his teams have always taken the 1st half of games off, so he has issues getting them up and ready.

Then look at Herman's team's performance...

Gezz, this isn't that hard.

If he is fried, you don't have to pay buyout but his agent would ask for more than what he makes now and it all ends up to be expensive with a tier 1 hc like him.

I wanted to chime in and rib him for that and then say "it's finger licking good??".

We all have typos and I'm one of the worst for that so that could've been me.

Either way it's funny and I LOL!

I haven't soured on Jimbo like a lot of people on this board. Herman is my choice but I don't think you'd be fricking it up to poach a championship winning coach with a history of developing QBs who also is familiar with LSU. Even if he doesn't post a sexy 10+ win season this year.

Urban Meyer posted an 8-5 year post Tebow before he faked his heart attack. Turned out he wasn't just propped up by Tim Tebow. Down years happen. Jimbo has done his fair share of winning since he took over. I can't imagine OSU fans were saying "Urban hasn't proven anything without Tebow. Dude is 8-5 across his last 13 games. Pass."

Like I said, my vote is for Herman but Jimbo would be a damn good hire.

Why is that? I would assume Herman might try to get him, but why in the hell would aranda want to coach with jimbo?

Why would anyone want Jimbo? His team is a mess and has been since last year. Miles was at least as good as him. The guy had a couple good years with Winston, but nothing else. He's a miserable choice.
