People say old friend is worth more than a new relationship. Miles vs Cam, same as Fisher vs Kelly and that could be the main reason for the downfalls of whoever in power.

If the Noles lose to the Canes this week it'll make things even easier

Petrino or Kiffin could end up at FSU

Yes, I am. Because the AD let Pruitt walk and replaced him with a guy who they eventually gave a raise anyways and is giving them barely top 100 production. I don't know how you don't see this as a problem or how 2 years ago is something considered so long ago to you.

Look for yourself what changed. I'm exhausted having to explain everything to you, honestly.

Go look for yourself at the contract differences. The info is available at your finger tips.

He felt comfortable Kelly could fill in for Pruitt. Obviously not the case

Yes, we have watched the games. And not just this year. We watched last year, and the year before that, and a few years before that, too. There is a pattern,

Yeah, I watched FSU a lot and too many of those wins were Milesesque where FSU barely eeked out wins vs. inferior opponents. Jimbo is not in the same league as Saban and will only give us a slightly better chance than Miles did.

We need someone like Herman who can out gameplan Saban and his coordinators, not some "awww-shucks" good ole baw running 1983 big play style offense. Jimbo dialing up bombs may work on his Gamecube with NCAA 2K3 but in 2016 real life it don't work so good. ergo 3-2.

Let's face it Jimbo has a 60% winning percentage this year and was embarrassed on national TV in his "Big NYE Bowl Game" against the Tulane of Texas. Do you really want us getting butt-slammed by former Conference-USA schools? Really?

Losing to Memphis may fly in Oxford but not here in Baton Rouge.

Again, same guy last year had them in the top 10 in scoring defense and top 10 in yards per play defense.

It's definitely a problem. You and I just disagree on what the problem is.

Time is relative, but IMO 2 years is an extremely long time to not fix a problem that you find so apparent.

They have a good group of returning defensive players, right? So if the players are there, and the coaches are the same, then how can such a drastic change be explained? Something changed, and whether it changed with or without the HC's input, it's still on him.

Just what i was told. Good portion of money and decision makers want Jimbo. A#1 target in their eyes. Herman and Jimbo still top 2 choices. Both have great credibility in markets where LSU has poached numerous recruits in the past. (Texas and Florida). Powers that be still want to have a strong, maybe stronger presence in those states. Jimbo and Herman instantly maintain that for LSU.

If Jimbo comes to LSU, this program will be continue to be stuck in the "stone ages" with its pro-style offense.

College football world has caught up with the style of offense. Only two teams left in the SEC currently run it as primary offense. LSU & Georgia

All valid concerns for jimbo. But if you can't get herman, there is no better option than jimbo. And based on your criteria, coach O is definitely out.
