Jimbo seen as "easier to get" rather than a liability after UNC game.

Just what i was told. Good portion of money and decision makers want Jimbo. A#1 target in their eyes. Herman and Jimbo still top 2 choices. Both have great credibility in markets where LSU has poached numerous recruits in the past. (Texas and Florida). Powers that be still want to have a strong, maybe stronger presence in those states. Jimbo and Herman instantly maintain that for LSU.

They should refuse to let him say no, then. No reason to hand over the reigns to Orgeron when you're willing to pay a guy 6+ million a year.

Have you heard about any trepidation regarding Texas taking Herman off the board?

Exactly what I said when UNC kicked that fg.

Jimbo has checked out at FSU, bring him on down!

I hope so bud. I want a proven HC or an up and comer that is energetic with some HC success.

Maybe he's trying to get fired so LSU doesn't need to pay the buyout!

Such good news. I was afraid the boosters had went down the coach O road with the rest of the ranters.

If he comes to LSU, I'm sure he'll try to keep Aranda

Agree. They loved him last year and I doubt much has changed. Fsu will lose a few more games too.

That's exactly what I'm thinking and great to hear. Jimbo could make us a power.

If O does decently as hc he will expect to get the job. He will walk if not offered in that scenario.

Some guys are just not his head coaches. Coach O falls into that category

The sick amount of quarterback talent Jimbo would get over here on top of our insane amount of athletes would mean several championships. Not one coach in all of America anywhere has a better track record with college quarterbacks than Jimbo. It's been our only weak spot over the years and it would never be a weak spot again with Jimbo. Would be a grand slam hire.

Does he even have a buyout? He is a Saban disciple afterall.
