As of recently, that is definitely not the case. 95% of the videos Ukraine posts these days are FPV drone footage. The videos I posted were from the last 48 hours
I'll agree to disagree on this. FWIW, some of the FPV drone footage is pretty rough, as you're watching a human-contr...
I wonder why that is? Surely no one has any motive to portray the war and how its going in a certain light....
I didn't ask that, I asked if you want to see more videos/images of the war. Or should I accuse you of viewing this like a sporting event with blue and red body paint? ...
 My god, you can't even criticize a jury and court officials in a criminal trial anymore? It's outrageous. It's not like anyone would actually get put in jail for 10+ counts of criminal contempt in any other trial. ...
You obviously just see this as a sporting event. He posts actual footage of the war this thread is about and you're trying to turn it into a pissing contest?
Bless your heart. There are other places, like X and Telegram, where these images flow pretty freely. You can [i]discuss[/i...
But hey, I’m sure Zapp Brannigan’s Killbot Strategy will work in the end:
The Killbot Strategy + glide bombs is basically Russian offensive tactics at this point. FFS, Russia is rushing people forward in ATVs....
ColtRange
My brother in Christ, do you really want to trade twitter posts of violence in this conflict? Do you have any idea what the ratio of Russian videos to Ukrainian videos is? ...
I don't know what a good answer is. I'm just saying that the measure of what is and is not a success for either side are goalposts that are constantly moving and changed by (and sometimes devoid of) any and all context.
I'll offer my perspective. First: Ukraine "surviving" is not ...
It was a major loss for Russia; however, a year later Russia appears to have recovered.
It took Russia 8+ months of Ukraine facing sustained ammo shortages to make progress. This can't be stressed enough, especially since it still cost Russia a ton of armor/soldiers to make progress....
Are we supposed to pretend that "all of the was done" didn't happen when Europe sent over $50B? Does only American funding/support help Ukraine?
America allocates funds in the form of weapon transfers. The $ covers the weapons that need replacement. It's not the money that counts,...
We'll see how things develop, but the situation in the east is not ideal. But let's keep things in perspective: Russia has gained tens of KMs in the midst of this sustained, costly offensive. Not hundreds, not thousands, tens....
Hey, not sure if Ayden noticed this ... But this highly edited video starts with 4 armored vehicles and ends with 1 armored vehicle. What happened to the other 3? Do you think they stopped for ice cream? Do you think they stopped for gas? Maybe they went to a car wash? Maybe stuck in the driv...
Scanning that article, it looks like Russia is applying the universal military obligation to the new regions. These conscripted soldiers are not used in the war however.
Ah, good to know. We can trust Russia's honesty on all matters military....
Why don’t they announce where it will all be delivered, what day and what place?
Won't make a damned bit of difference, Russia can't do much to stop it....
Right now, Ukraine does not have a good way to destroy Kerch. They really need Taurus for that, and Germany isn't giving it.
If history has taught us anything, it's that a country needn't necessarily "give" Ukraine anything. I don't really care if Germany "gives" Ukraine th...
Really gonna need some kind of mine detecting and clearing robots. Maybe a small robot that could detect mines and put charges to be detonated remotely where mines are found.
Just buy a bunch of those $30 Radio Shack RC cars with the big 'ole mud tires and send them across the minefi...
Exactly... "slowly adding more territory" while suffering HUGE casualties and losing equipment like a touring demolition derby... It's like the people who keep saying "this is a war of attrition" only apply that from Russia's side, not seeing that Russia is having that very war waged on th...
It's wild that people think $14 billion or whatever Ukraine is getting in military aid is actually going to stop Russia. Unless it includes about 500,000 trained soldiers, it's not going to make any meaningful difference in the outcome.
It’s ~$55,000,000,000.00 worth of military assi...
The actual number of Russian deaths is likely to be much higher.
No kidding. 50k CONFIRMED deaths, based on gravesites. There's an awful lot of Russian men rotting in the ground all over Eastern Ukraine....
IDK, I don't think you can maintain your power for as long as Putin or even Xi has without being able to get and respond to bad news. The chickens of just ignoring challenges and issues that pop up would come home to roost eventually. This is more of the Disney-fying or comic-booking of reali...
Wow, there are some really harsh criticisms in this article.
The war is a turning-point for Russia. It has consigned Mr Putin’s regime to broad international isolation. He has also had to deal with difficult domestic political undercurrents, from the rebellion by the mercenaries of the Wa...
