Report: LSU OT Lance Heard Expected To Transfer To SEC School

LSU offensive tackle Lance Heard is expected to transfer to Tennessee, according to 247 Sports.

Heard, a former five-star lineman from Monroe, La., played in 12 games this season but did not travel to the ReliaQuest Bowl with the team. He made one start at right tackle when Emery Jones Jr. was out with an injury and played well.

Heard was very adamant when he signed with the Tigers that he was coming to play left tackle, a spot already held down by Will Campbell.

I think most people moved on from Lance Heard when they saw his display of who he is. Amazing what he demanded in both the position of LT over Campbell and NIL.

What did he demand in NIL? I've heard very few numbers on anyone since this fiasco started.

Keep making demands - it'll serve you well in life.

Take your pouting somewhere else. Nothing sucks better than the big orange. Enjoy the mediocre bowl tour. Mr Campbell ran your arse off. We want true LSU Tigers. Our OL will be fine without you. GEAUX TIGERS!

Let’s get one thing straight: the young man is talented.

But he has a fatal flaw: entitlement

I suspect he will acquire that oh so expensive commodity one day: wisdom

A reflection of just how bad arse Will Campbell is at LT. We're in good hands.

For one more year, unfortunately. Heard was the guy for the following season. Would have been fun to watch us put a LT in the NFL in the first round for consecutive years.

Yep, I know. Problem is Heard wasn't willing to wait and miss the potential additional year of knowledge and training at LT. Wish he wouldn't have left but can't fault the kid either.

Good luck playing LT at Tennessee too. Don’t think there isn’t competition there too. He just took the most money. Barely had the feet to play RT, he better lose about 40 lbs if he wants to be nimble enough to play LT. He’s an NFL RT regardless of his obsession with playing on the left side.

I'm not convinced he's a tackle in the NFL. He looks and moves like a guard.
