re: 247sports predicts LSU will be the most disappointing team in SEC - LuckyTiger57
Sounds as if that will be added motivation to prove everyone wrong. Coaches and players have to love it....

re: Why exactly did Key go Pro? Questionable off the field issues, poor combine, poor Pro Day - LuckyTiger57
I tend to think he may not have been making the grades needed to stay in school as well. I think he is going to struggle when it’s all said and done. Truth will come out....

re: IN MY OPINION, this is not an NIT caliber team... - LuckyTiger57
This team is a work in progress and while there has been better disciplines instilled by Will Wade, I don’t think many people expected them to be a force this year in the SEC. However, next year the expectations will be there to earn a bit to the NIT or NCAA tournament....

re: So according to Dellenger, Doug Nussmeier is expected to join the Cowboys - LuckyTiger57
He just used LSU. I understand that the Cowboys job is better, but this may just turn out to be better for LSU in the end. I’m sure there are better people that LSU could hire to be an Offensive analyst, and certainly better than Doug Nussmier....

re: How much does a win against Miami change attitudes here? - LuckyTiger57
I doubt it changes the minds especially the negative ranters at all. If they win by a small margin, it will not be good enough. At the end of the day any win against the tough schedule that LSU has next year should make fans happy, but not the ranters. ...

re: Kardell Thomas with strong words for Surtain, Goodrich, Foster - LuckyTiger57
A man with words instead of deeds is like a garden full of weeds. Let’s just hope Kardell keeps his commitment to LSU and doesn’t get mesmerized by Saban enough to decommit from LSU. ...

re: A little positivity for next football season - LuckyTiger57
I agree sir. The negative post and comments being spewed out is just disgusting. You would swear that this is a left wing fan base saying anything negative they can toward LSU and the university itself because they wanted someone else other than EO. They live in misery and negativity everyday, a...

re: Someone enlighten me on a Recruits thought process - LuckyTiger57
It is because of social media and the spotlight it provides them. ESPN and Rivals have created a huge problem with recruiting that makes it play out longer than it needs to be. It has made many of these recruits primadonnas and they like to wait and say in front of the camera on national TV, “ I’m ...

re: I hope LSU gets Surtain Jr. I'm nervous! - LuckyTiger57
It will be interesting to see how this finishes out, between Saban and Corey Raymond. I’d say its 50/50 at this point because Alabama has gained some momentum, and desperately want him as much as LSU....

re: How the XFL could affect college football and LSU - LuckyTiger57
The XFL could be successful this time around due to the absurd way the NFL has allowed political views such as not standing for the National Anthem. Money, will not be a problem and finding good players and providing a good product on the field at prices that are fan friendly and affordable concessi...

re: The addition of Kevin Faulk is huge to the program. - LuckyTiger57
I don’t care if his experience in coaching thus far has only been a few years at his high school alma mater. What Kevin Faulk brings is a wealth of experience both as a all time LSU great ar running back and a three time winner at the Super Bowl playing and learning from arguably the greatest And mo...

re: Saban: Players shouldn't leave early unless they are guaranteed to be first round picks - LuckyTiger57
Totally agree with you. We see this more and more three years and done, even when they are recommended by scouts to remain in school and get their degree to have something else to fall on. Some are lucky to get a FA contract. They all want instant gratification paydays, even if they don’t grade out....

re: Why do the Patriots and Bama keep winning? Good read. It's all about Mindset. - LuckyTiger57
Players also choose not to seek moving on from New England and play for less, thus keeping continuity and good players longer than other NFL teams. Having Tom Brady all those years has made it easier to decide to stay, but that’s my take on it....
