Is scoring one of the craziest goals in history of the world cup and then running into the stands and demanding to see your girl one of the wildest celebrations in sports history. Absolute cinema

I think technically you can get carded for that

I’m glad the ref stepped back and let it happen.

Nah. They almost always get blasted in the group stage. You just remember the Cinderellas

And when they "struggle" they're almost always controlling the game

This was an exceptionally rare instance of a minnow going toe-to-toe in open play

Did you miss the whole point of "on American soil"?

Underdogs and "minnows" are celebrated in this country to an extent unmatched in the rest of the world.

The most recent CFP final is the most watched CFP game besides the first CFP final in 2015.

Why did it perform better than all the others? Because America tuned in to see if the ultimate underdog, Indiana, could finish the story.

That Underdog outdrew Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, and Ohio State - Blue bloods of the game.

This country doesn't complain about "minnows" not knowing their place...we cheer for the minnows to strive for greatness.

Also, the Argentine guy lays on the ground or 45 seconds of added time but the ref doesn’t let CV take that last corner. bullshite.

Argentina is a blue blood though. They're going to get special treatment every time.

Nothing will pass the #67 ranked team playing in their first world cup ever taking the defending champs and #1 team to the brink.

I don't care if France and Argentina play to a 5-5 draw and decide the title on penalties. Nothing this year will top what I just watched

I’m thinking Colombia dominates Ghana but maybe the scoreline doesn’t agree so 1-0 or 2-0

But after that last game who the hell knows anything is possible

This has nothing to do with Cape Verde pushing Argentina to ET

This is closer to patriotic narcissism

Another studs up challenge on an ankle that won’t even be looked at for a yellow compared to Balogun’s red.

Unreal.
