The Jairus Byrd deal is the domino that started kicking the can down the road to pay for players when we couldn't pay for them up front.

I have to say that I've come away with a ton of respect for Bellingham after the world cup. I know the dude catches a lot of heat but he might be my favorite non -American player

If it goes to PKs it counts as a Draw. So they would set the record even if they lose in PKs.
