Look I’m not jumping on the Trump vs Ron media driven main event fight for the Republican Party, I’ll vote for whoever gets the nomination if they both run. But to act like Trump didn’t rub elbows, seek alliances, make deals, and hobknob with the GOP and DC establishment in general both before, during, and after his presidency is being willfully ignorant.
It makes Trump look at best a like poor judge of character willing to align with anyone who will kiss his arse and at worse just another politician who knows he needed RNC funding and influence. So this whole holding the people that have endorsed DeSantis over his head is a moot point when you factor in that Trump allowed himself to be influenced by them and had a history of bringing them into his circle.
