Aligning with Trump is a pathway to more losing. They're Aligning with DeSantis because he has a chance to win. You may think Trump is the greatest ever but there's a winnable portion of the electorate that's never going to vote for him and its based on him. The things he does, the things he says, the narcissism, the petulance, the exaggerations or lies. He's not going to win. He isn't. Take your chances with Trump or try something new.

Going for DeSantis over Trump is just giving in.
I'm pretty sure DeSantis will willingly play ball in order to get elected to POTUS. He has that "elite" air about him. I think he'll be about a Trey Gowdy at best once he takes office.
I want and this country needs an outsider like Trump to disrupt the deep state. It's our only chance we have to beat them down at all.

Trump won in 2020. They made sure it was taken away. Anyone trusting a "fair" election is either an idiot or complicite. Desantis will not win AZ, NV, PA or MI no matter how many people vote for him. Thats the reality of the situation.

I have a friend who is pretty much mainstream Republican, involved in politics and hates ole Ronny D with a passion.
Calls him a snake, liar, ole grease head, etc.
I always thought it was kind of extreme but I think he just sees that George W in him.

George W was ill prepared for the Dems evilness. He tried to get along to go along and quickly found himself in no man's land. He was the worst disappointment I have suffered under any politician. I really liked him and wanted him to do well.
