In another 5-10 years, Montana will be another Colorado. I'm getting out of this place before it gets any worse. Had a few good years up here, though.
I moved to Montana 11 years ago and I've caught a lot of trash talk for being from the south. What I've seen up here is some of the most beyond redneck backwards shite. This whole damn state is full of inbred and cousins who married cousins. They tell me how racist everything is in the south (most of them have never left Montana or Wyoming) but don't want to talk about their own behavior or comments towards native Americans. There are bad ppl everywhere in America but I give me the south any day.
Thankfully, Yellowstone made my home value shoot up and I'm headed back down south soon.
I think most places take it pretty seriously. Some organizations have taken a zero tolerance policy and that can help staff understand better. Most, if not all organizations should require some form of privacy training at hire and annually after that. Some training is better than others. I've done hundreds (if not more) of privacy investigations at several health systems, and I've seen the worst of the worst. Love triangles, small town gossip, department gossip, curiosity, willful disregard, and social media posts. In 15 years of investigations, what I've encountered is that emergency departments seems to have the biggest issues but I've seen it all over the place. I've seen staff at all levels (janitors, coding, billing, all kinds of clinical staff) be fired for privacy violations. Some days I've felt like Jerry Springer talking to these people about what they did and why they did it. I've also, seen the govt fine organizations big money for some cases.
Been up here in Red Lodge, Montana over 10 years. The winters have finally gotten to me. Drove through Yellowstone today...booger eaters everywhere. I'm over it. I'm headed back south in a few years.
Gianforte....A-
He's done better than I expected. Could help more on state public land access getting locked in by private land owners. Not bad, though.

My outside thermometer has been been stuck on 38 degrees all day. No snow but I'm sure they got some up on top of the pass.
Yep, been up here in Montana for 11 years. Time to cash out and head south. Tons of California and Minnesota wackos taking over. It's changed soo much even in the time I've been here.
Lot's of "consulting" companies created by Senate/House members (or their families) have made very good money on this scam of a war. It's been done before and won't ever change. It's one of the reasons they go in broke then are making millions in a short time after being elected.
Whomever it will be, they will face an incumbent that has many, many millions in campaign cash from pharma. Hopefully, his opponent will be well funded for the campaign.

It's been many years, but growing up the Blackwater river in north Okaloosa/Santa Rosa County was good and also the Chipola River in Calhoun County was always fun.
He could have scared more voters with "Vote, or I'll pp in your mouth" rather than "Vote or Die". Missed opportunity for Diddy.
Lots of motorcycles on the weekends already and rich people already back in town for their "summer" homes. No u-turns on Broadway, please. It slows everything down.
P.S....don't pet the bison in the park. Grizzlies are a problem, and lock your car doors because the black bears will open your doors, steal your snacks, and possibly poop in your car. Otherwise, enjoy the views.

Those that throw "nazi" around when describing anything these days should be forced to go see the scratches by the door of the gas chamber at Dachau and then tell me if they really believe DJT or anyone else is truly a nazi.
Not me, but, I have blocked most of them. Don't have time for all that crazy!
The days of agree to disagree about politics are over. I don't see it ever getting better anytime soon. The (very) few lefty friends I had have become totally unhinged and irrational. Sad
The American taxpayer will be ripped off for years to come on this mess. The last administration was driving but filth like Miss Lindsey Graham, Bill Cassidy, John Cornyn, and many, many others in GOP made money and will make millions on the rebuild.
Is there anyone in South Carolina that can beat Graham? Surely there is someone that can beat this guy. It's time for him to be retired but this dude is a powerhouse in South Carolina.
