I don’t Facebook. So haven’t seen it.

Reading that wall of post of yours I can already poke a massive hole in said conspiracy theory.

Anderson Cooper

Mr Cooper would definitely not be interested in Mr Epstein’s line up. If you know what I’m saying.

conservative outlets

It’s 2020. You don’t have to go far to find fake news to poke holes in if you’re a conservative outlet. COVID overreaction, General Barr’s crucifixion last week, BLM, etc, etc, etc

I am a conservative and voted for Trump. I started a thread on the Political board asking why conservatives were so prone to believing conspiracy theories. Suffice it to say they did not react well.

Operation Northwoods was stopped, but that's a scary one, too.

Not to politard the thread too much, but Dems were huge into the deep state stuff during Bush/Cheney. Rightfully so. Now, they that such a thing exists. Funny how that works.

Professional wrestling requires athleticism, discipline and awareness; all of which are typically rare in conspiracy theorists.

I’ve wondered the same thing about all the people who believed the Steele dossier and bought into the Russian collusion conspiracy theories.

Yes.

That article is from January of 2012.

The Greek government had pedophilia (along with sadomasochism and voyeurism) on a "proposed list" in January of that year. It was not on the list that was instituted in October of that year.

Because people are dumb and they have to label their “enemies” as worse than they actually are so they can sleep at night.

Sure the conspiracists are over the top, and often there is nothing to support their inanities. This time they might be onto something. Epstein's pimp is in jail, and the stuff leaking sounds great!

Why not just post the site that lists the disabilities instead of an erroneous article?

For anyone you may have confused, pedophilia is not listed as a Greek disability.

It definitely happens on both sides to an extent. I think far-right conservatives are more prone to it right now because the country is going to shite under Trump’s watch and it forces people to grasp more. Same thing would be happening with liberals if Trump was thriving. Conspiracies are certainly bipartisan. The corona virus related conspiracies are tough to comprehend when you have a majority of respected researchers and doctors explaining ways to mitigate it and some conservatives continue to write it off. My sister works in the ICU in Lafayette and their hospital is overwhelmed yet people will tell her to her face this whole thing is exaggerated. It’s like if they continue to tell themselves it’s not a big deal then it’ll just go away.
